In a significant boost to domestic manufacturing, DCM Shriram Group has delivered its first India-made sea cargo container to Danish shipping giant A.P. Moller-Maersk. Marking the start of a scaled commercial partnership, Maersk has placed a follow-on order for 1,000 additional units following the successful handover of the first container at a recent event. This milestone signals a crucial shift for India's maritime supply chain, positioning local production to challenge a global market historically dominated by Chinese suppliers.
