AxisCades Aerospace Infrastructure Private Limited plans to invest ₹6,000 crore in Karnataka, according to MB Patil, the state’s Minister for Large and Medium Industries.
The Bengaluru-based aerospace and defence company is proposing to establish a 200-acre integrated hub dedicated to manufacturing, testing and maintenance operations across the aerospace, defence, semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence sectors. The project will also include a domestic research and development centre to be developed through global technology partnerships.
Patil said the investment will be implemented in phases and is expected to create around 20,000 direct jobs and an additional 54,000 indirect employment opportunities across the state.
He added that the proposed facility will support the development of aerospace and defence infrastructure, including missile sub-systems, radar and sensor technologies, as well as Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities for fighter aircraft.
