CEL-ESDS Breaks Ground: Green Data Center Era Begins!

The foundation stone for the CEL-ESDS Green Data Center will be laid today at the Central Electronics Limited (CEL) office in the Sahibabad Industrial Area, Ghaziabad. This collaborative initiative between CEL and ESDS Software Solution aims to establish a state-of-the-art Tier-3 certified green data center.

Designed to meet high standards of sustainability, energy efficiency, and digital performance, the facility aligns with the Government of India’s Digital India and Green India missions. It is expected to drive digital governance, support innovation, and create employment opportunities in the region.

The data center will feature a 30 MW capacity, high-density server racks across three floors, and a 40 Gbps ring fiber backbone with multi-ISP support. Equipped with multi-layered security and advanced monitoring systems, it will ensure robust data integrity and protection. Once operational, the CEL-ESDS Green Data Center will become a key pillar of Uttar Pradesh’s digital infrastructure, bolstering the state’s position in India’s growing digital economy.
