Bridging for Safety: SCR's ₹106 Crore RoB Project in Karnataka

South Central Railway (SCR) has invited bids for the construction of three two-lane Road Over Bridges (RoBs) in the Gooty–Wadi section of Karnataka, aimed at replacing existing manned level crossings to improve road and rail safety.

The proposed locations are as follows:

Two RoBs between Marichethal and Raichur stations in lieu of Level Crossings (LC) 216 at km 555/1-2 and LC 217 at km 558/6-7

One RoB between Raichur and Yeramus stations, replacing LC No. 219 at km 567/6-7

The project has an estimated cost of ₹106 crore and is expected to be completed within 36 months from the date of commencement.

The last date for bid submission is 10 July 2025.
