The Andhra Pradesh State Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, has approved ₹524.70 crore for completing a residential complex in Nelapadu, Amaravati, for MLAs, MLCs, and All India Services officers.
The project will feature 432 residential units across 18 towers (S+12 floors each) and will be executed under a lump-sum contract with a two-year defect liability period (DLP). The Cabinet also ratified prior tendering steps taken by the APCRDA Commissioner. Additionally, it approved a review of institutional land allocations in the CRDA region to enhance land use efficiency.
In a significant move toward positioning Andhra Pradesh as a Quantum Valley hub, the Cabinet approved the establishment of the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre (AQCC). This initiative follows the Quantum Valley Workshop held on June 30, 2025, where global and Indian experts endorsed the state’s tech vision.
The AQCC will invite international companies to install quantum computing hardware and foster collaboration with startups, universities, and research institutions. The initiative is expected to boost employment and fuel technology-led economic growth.
