AINU's Growth Surge: 20 Hospitals and ₹150 Crore Investment

Asian Healthcare Holdings (AHH), backed by global investors GIC and TPG, is set to significantly expand its Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU) network to around 20 hospitals by FY2030.

AINU currently operates more than 500 beds across seven hospitals in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Siliguri, and Chennai. A newly launched 200-bed flagship hospital in Hyderabad marks a major milestone in its growth. Executive Chairman Vishal Bali stated that three to four new hospitals are planned between FY26 and FY27, which will bring the network to 12–13 facilities and approximately 850 beds. Expansion will focus on Tier-II cities such as Bhubaneswar, Patna, Coimbatore, and Pune.

CEO Sandeep Guduru confirmed a capital expenditure of Rs 150 crore for these new centres within the next 12 months, alongside continued investment in robotic surgery. From FY27 to FY30, AINU aims to add another seven to eight hospitals.

AHH, which also owns Motherhood Hospitals and Nova IVF, is further looking to diversify into additional specialties—gastroenterology being a near-term priority.
