NCL's ₹40.9 Crore Bid for Jayant Expansion R&R Site

Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has invited bids for the development of a Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R&R) site for the Jayant Expansion Project in Madhya Pradesh, to be executed on a turnkey basis.

Valued at ₹40.9 crore, the project aims to provide modern housing and essential infrastructure for families displaced due to the expansion of mining activities. The scope includes site development, construction of residential units, internal roads, drainage, water supply, electrification, and the creation of community facilities.

The contract specifies a completion period of seven months from the date of award. The selected bidder will be responsible for delivering all civil, structural, and service-related works within this timeline.

This initiative reflects NCL’s continued focus on sustainable mining and social responsibility, ensuring that affected communities are resettled with dignity and access to improved living standards.
