The Irrigation & Waterways Department of West Bengal has invited bids to engage a consultant for preparing a feasibility study report (FSR) for the Lower Sundarban – Sustainably Harnessing Ocean Resources and Economy (SHORE) Program.
The selected consultant will also be responsible for preparing a detailed project report (DPR), developing detailed designs and cost estimates for the entire project, and drafting 30 percent of the bidding documents for the proposed civil works under the SHORE Program. The initiative aims to sustainably utilize ocean resources while strengthening the local economy in the Lower Sundarban region of West Bengal.
The SHORE Program aligns with the state government’s broader objectives of promoting coastal development and improving resource management in the region.
The last date for submission of bids is 13 February 2026.
