PHED Invites Bids for ₹3,340 Crore Jakham Dam Water Supply Project

The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Rajasthan, has invited bids for the implementation of a major drinking water supply project based on the Jakham Dam, under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). The project is designed to benefit 1,473 villages across the districts of Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, and Udaipur, and will be implemented in two packages via the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).

Package-1 covers 93 villages in Chhoti Sadri block (Pratapgarh) and 707 villages across seven blocks in Chittorgarh district. Scope includes construction of a Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Intermediate Pumping Stations (IPS-1 to IPS-6), Clear Water Pumping Stations (CPS-01 to CPS-19), and related civil works. The package also includes 10 years of operation and maintenance.
Estimated cost: ₹1,692.30 crore.

Package-2 includes 371 villages in three blocks of Udaipur and 302 villages in four blocks of Rajsamand. Key components include construction of IPS-2 at Mata Kheri, IPS-7 to IPS-11 at various locations, laying of rising mains up to CPS-53, and development of village and cluster-level water distribution networks with civil infrastructure.
Estimated cost: ₹1,648.54 crore.
