Big Bucks for Big Water: HMWSSB's ₹114.6 Crore O&M Tender

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has issued a tender for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of water treatment plants and pumping stations under the Krishna and Godavari water supply systems. The contract will be valid for a period of two years.

Valued at ₹114.6 crore, the scope of work includes maintenance of gravity mains of various diameters, sub-stations, power transformers, and pumpsets. The objective is to ensure uninterrupted water supply and efficient management of critical infrastructure supporting Hyderabad’s water needs.

The selected contractor will be responsible for end-to-end operations, including manning, equipment monitoring, upkeep of pipelines, and overall system efficiency.

The last date for bid submission is 15 September 2025.
