DCC Infra Projects has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a ₹559.21 crore engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract under the Northeast Frontier Railway.
The project involves doubling the railway track between Dhansiri (km 241.000, inclusive) and Naojan (km 285.860, exclusive), spanning 44.860 km. It also includes electrification and signalling works as part of the larger Lumding–Tinsukia Junction–Dibrugarh doubling initiative in Assam.
Aimed at increasing capacity and operational efficiency, the project will significantly enhance rail connectivity in the northeastern region. The upgraded infrastructure will enable faster, smoother train operations, benefiting both passenger and freight services. DCC Infra’s selection highlights its expanding role in executing critical railway infrastructure projects across India.
