In a major push to upgrade regional infrastructure, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has initiated the bidding process for the six-laning of the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway (Package 1).
Stretching 181.30 km across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh under the BOT model, the project aims to transform this crucial economic corridor. Once complete, the upgraded multi-lane highway will feature advanced safety systems and modern infrastructure built to handle rising traffic volumes and streamline commercial freight movement.
Interested developers must submit their bids by 23 November 2026.
