Paras Health is accelerating its expansion in North India through a mix of greenfield developments and brownfield upgrades, with plans to add nearly 800 beds over the next three years and take its total capacity to करीब 3,000 beds.
As part of this growth plan, the company is developing a 300-bed hospital in Gurugram and a 500-bed facility in Ludhiana, marking its entry into the Punjab market. Managing Director Dharminder Kumar Nagar stated that these additions will significantly scale up capacity in the near term, aligning with the company’s expansion roadmap.
The move comes amid a clear supply gap in quality healthcare infrastructure across the region, driving demand for additional corporate hospital capacity. Paras Health has already expanded its bed strength from 1,250 in March 2022 to 2,135 in March 2024, reflecting steady growth.
Established in 2006 with its first hospital in Gurugram, the group currently operates eight hospitals across five states and one Union Territory, including Panchkula, Patna, Darbhanga, Kanpur, Udaipur, Ranchi, and Srinagar. The upcoming projects are expected to further strengthen its regional presence while helping bridge the healthcare infrastructure gap in North India.
