Tungabhadra’s New Strength: Completion Set for April

Andhra Pradesh Minister Payyavula Keshav, along with Government Whip Kalava Srinivasulu, inspected the ongoing installation of new gates at the Tungabhadra Dam. During the visit, Keshav briefed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, stating that the work is on track for completion by the end of April. He highlighted that the initiative has also prompted Karnataka to accelerate its efforts. With 18 out of 33 gates already installed, the project aims to strengthen irrigation infrastructure and benefit farmers in the Rayalaseema region, particularly in Kurnool and Anantapur districts.
