The Water Resources Department (WRD) of Rajasthan is taking a major step toward boosting agricultural productivity in Kota district. By launching a tender for a new pressurized irrigation network, the state aims to channel water from the Chambal Right Main Canal (located in Ladpura tehsil) to 36 villages currently struggling with unreliable canal access.
Scheduled with a bid deadline of 01 September, 2026, this infrastructure upgrade is designed to optimize water-use efficiency and bring vital, assured irrigation to a broader expanse of farmland.
