Ventana Speciality planning to set up Steel Ingots & Billets Project in Gujarat

Ventana Speciality Private Limited intends to establish a new steel ingots and billets project in Ghantiyal, Gujarat. The mill will produce steel ingots and billets for a variety of purposes and is planned to have a capacity of 100,000 metric tons per year. The project is projected to cost roughly $40 million and will be completed by 2025. Ventana Speciality is a renowned steel product maker in India. 

The company has a long history of invention and has created a variety of proprietary technologies for the production of steel ingots and billets. Ventana Speciality's new steel ingots and billets plant in Ghantiyal will be the company's third in India. The other two plants are in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur and Chhattisgarh's Raipur. 

The new plant in Ghantiyal is a significant investment by Ventana Speciality and demonstrates the company's commitment to the Indian steel sector. The factory is intended to provide approximately 1000 employment and benefit the local economy. As of September 2023, The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals & has obtained all necessary government permissions work of the project is anticipated to occur in either 2023 or 2024.
