SRF Altech to Build ₹600 Cr Battery Foil Plant in MP

SRF is doubling down on the green energy transition with a ₹600 crore investment for a new manufacturing facility in Jetapur, Madhya Pradesh. Through its subsidiary SRF Altech, the company plans to produce roughly 12,000 tonnes of specialized aluminium foil annually across two phases. Tailored specifically for lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries, this project positions SRF as a key player in the rapidly growing electric vehicle and energy storage supply chains.
