Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin recently inaugurated two major manufacturing facilities via video conference, bringing in a total investment of ₹475 crore and reinforcing the state’s status as a leading industrial hub.
One of the facilities has been established by Germany-based Agile Robots SE, a global leader in AI-driven robotic machine components. Located in the SIPCOT Industrial Park, this cutting-edge plant involves an investment of ₹300 crore and is projected to generate approximately 300 new jobs, according to an official state government release.
Agile Robots SE is known for its advanced robotic systems and intelligent software solutions, which enhance operational efficiency and productivity across various industries. The company serves sectors such as automotive, consumer electronics, and healthcare. Its presence in Tamil Nadu is expected to further integrate the state into the global advanced manufacturing ecosystem, boosting high-tech industrial growth in the region.
