₹300 Crore Investment: Lohiya Group's Recipe for FMCG Growth

The Lohiya Group has launched a state-of-the-art biscuit manufacturing facility in Medchal, near Hyderabad, Telangana, underscoring its commitment to technology-led and sustainable growth in the FMCG sector. With an investment plan of ₹300 crore over the next four years, the Group is strengthening its strategic footprint in the food processing industry.

Established under Lohiya Confectionery, the facility spans seven acres and integrates advanced technology with an innovation-driven approach, designed for long-term scalability and environmental sustainability. Currently operating at a monthly capacity of 1,000 tonnes, the plant features a modular infrastructure that can scale up to 5,000 tonnes per month to meet future demand.

This flexibility supports the company’s ambitions across both domestic and international markets. The new facility is also set to create significant employment, offering 2,000 direct jobs and supporting an additional 4,000 roles across its supply and distribution networks. Positioned as a catalyst for regional development, the Medchal facility is expected to play a key role in the local economy and contribute meaningfully to India’s processed food sector.
