Manna Goes Pan-India: Reliance Finalizes ₹156.42 Cr Acquisition

Reliance Consumer Products (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries (RIL), has acquired Southern Health Foods (SHFPL) for ₹156.42 crore.

With effect from 9 February 2026, SHFPL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of RCPL. Established in 2012, the Tamil Nadu-based company is best known for its flagship brand Manna, and has been manufacturing a diverse range of health-focused food products for over two decades.

Commenting on the acquisition, T. Krishnakumar, Director of RCPL, said that Manna is among the most trusted health food brands in Tamil Nadu, with a strong presence in neighbouring states. The brand is recognised for its nutritious offerings, including millet-based staples and mixes, beverages, and baby food products.
