General Mills India has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Nashik with an investment of approximately ₹100 crore to boost production of Pillsbury bakery products. This marks the company’s second plant in the city, reinforcing its manufacturing footprint in Maharashtra.
The state-of-the-art facility incorporates advanced production technologies and follows global quality benchmarks, with a strong focus on food safety and optimal resource use. It has been designed to improve supply chain efficiency, shorten delivery timelines, and ensure better availability of Pillsbury products for bakeries nationwide.
Beyond expanding production capacity, the new plant is expected to create direct and indirect employment across manufacturing, logistics, and allied services in the region. It is also set to support local suppliers and ancillary businesses, contributing to broader economic growth in and around Nashik.
