Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to expand its Advanced Research and Development Centre at Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai, along with setting up additional testing facilities, with an investment of around ₹196 crore. The move is aimed at enhancing MRV’s capabilities in advanced vehicle design, product engineering, and the development of future mobility technologies.
The upgraded R&D and testing infrastructure will support the development of next-generation vehicle platforms across various segments, strengthening the company’s innovation pipeline and engineering expertise.
The company stated that the expanded facility is expected to become operational within the current calendar year.
