ACME Solar x SJVN: A 450 MW Renewable Powerhouse Deal

ACME Solar Holdings, through its subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh, has signed two long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with SJVN Limited for a combined capacity of 450 MW along with 1,800 MWh of energy storage.

The agreements were signed on March 2, 2026, and will remain valid for 25 years. The projects will be connected to inter-state transmission system substations and will leverage ACME Solar’s night-time connectivity in high-irradiation regions of Rajasthan.

Under the terms of the agreement, ACME Solar will supply four hours of assured peak power during non-solar hours, while maintaining 90% availability on both monthly and annual bases.

With these agreements, ACME Solar has signed 1,690 MW of PPAs during the current financial year, increasing its total PPA-backed capacity to 6,270 MW.

The contract was awarded under the FDRE Tranche-IV tender issued through tariff-based competitive bidding guidelines. The e-reverse auction for the tender was conducted in October 2025, and the company received the Letter of Award (LoA) in November 2025.

ACME Solar Holdings is an integrated renewable energy developer with a diversified portfolio of 8,071 MW across solar, wind, hybrid, storage, and FDRE solutions. This includes 2,966 MW of operational contracted capacity and 5,105 MW currently under construction, along with around 17 GWh of battery energy storage systems.
