Adani Wind’s 696 MW Power Move!

Adani Wind, the wind energy arm of Adani New Industries, has secured orders totaling 696.2 MW across five power producers: Purvah Green Power (300 MW), Jindal India Power (155 MW), Aditya Birla Renewables, NTPC Renewable Energy, and Integrum Energy.

The contracts cover 3.3 MW, 5 MW, and 5.2 MW wind turbine generator (WTG) platforms, with installations scheduled across Karnataka, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. With these latest wins, Adani Wind’s cumulative order book from third-party independent power producers (IPPs) has surpassed 1 GW. To support growing demand, the company plans to expand its annual manufacturing capacity in Mundra, Gujarat, from 2.25 GW to 5 GW.
