Lokesh Infra bags ₹340.16 Cr Adasa Mining Project

Lokesh Infraprojects has secured a ₹340.16 crore contract for large-scale overburden (OB) removal works at the Adasa UG to OC Mine.

The project involves excavation and handling of hard overburden material across multiple strata using heavy earthmoving machinery (HEMM), including excavators, tippers, drills, dozers, graders, and water sprinklers. The scope of work covers drilling, excavation, loading, transportation, dumping, and grading activities aimed at supporting coal extraction operations through systematic overburden removal and management at the mining site.

The contract is scheduled to be executed over approximately 23 months, during which the company will undertake comprehensive mining support operations. The project is part of ongoing mining development initiatives in the Nagpur region and is expected to improve operational efficiency at the Adasa mine.

With this order, Lokesh Infraprojects further strengthens its position in the mining infrastructure sector by supporting large-scale coal production through mechanised excavation and material handling services, while maintaining operational safety and effective site management standards.
