The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the construction of a realignment of NH-87 (designated as New NH-109) along the Rudrapur-Kathgodam section in Uttarakhand. This realignment is necessitated by the proposed expansion of Pantnagar Airport.
The project involves the realignment of a 7.875 km stretch, from existing km 54.050 to km 61.550 of NH-87, and will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model. The estimated project cost is ₹240.50 crore, with a completion timeline of 15 months.
The deadline for bid submission is 29 July 2025.
