VRC Constructions India has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for civil, structural, and underground piping works at the Ethylene Cracker Unit (ECU block) of the Bina Petrochemical and Refinery Expansion Project (BPREP) in Madhya Pradesh.
The scope includes RCC works for sub-structure foundations involving open foundations, excavation in all soil types and soft rock, backfilling, piling (as applicable), and PCC below foundations. It also covers structural steel works using rolled sections, parallel flange sections, built-up and tubular/hollow sections—encompassing supply, fabrication, transport, assembly, erection, and testing of bolted/welded structures. Additionally, the package includes laying underground piping systems.
Financial bids were opened on 16 June 2025, with VRC quoting ₹309.82 crore. The project is to be completed within 19 months.
