DCM Shriram has announced that its subsidiary, Shriram Polytech, has entered into a joint venture with Teknor Apex, a subsidiary of Teknor Apex Company, to establish a new entity named PolyTek.
The partnership aims to strengthen DCM Shriram’s polymer compounds business by combining Shriram Polytech’s domestic manufacturing capabilities in vinyl compounds with Teknor Apex’s global expertise in advanced material formulations. The joint venture will focus on delivering high-performance, specialty polymer solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.
Through PolyTek, the partners seek to enhance supply chain resilience, improve access to advanced technologies, and elevate product quality standards. The venture also reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, operational excellence, and responsible growth, aligned with global environmental standards in the specialty materials sector.
