TBWES Bags ₹277 Cr Heater Deal for Gujarat PDH Plant

Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder by Engineers India Limited for a contract valued at ₹277.02 crore.

The contract covers the supply and execution of a critical heater package for the Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) unit, part of the PDH-Polypropylene (PP) plant’s ethane and propane handling facilities at Dahej, Gujarat. The heater package is a vital component in the dehydrogenation process, enabling the conversion of propane into propylene—a key raw material in polypropylene production.

The scope of work includes the complete design, engineering, procurement, and execution of the heater system to meet stringent thermal and operational requirements. With a strong track record in thermal and process engineering, Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions will ensure timely and compliant delivery in line with project specifications.
