Noida Airport Link: Cloverleaf Interchange Begins in Aug!

With the Noida International Airport nearing operational readiness, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced that construction of the long-pending cloverleaf interchange connecting the Yamuna Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) will commence in August 2025.

Designed to streamline connectivity for commuters from Palwal, Kundli, Panipat, Meerut, and Greater Noida, the project will eliminate the existing 15–20 km detour through Pari Chowk and Kasna. The 11-km stretch, located near Jaganpur and Afzalpur villages, will include four loops and four ramps to enable seamless traffic flow. Completion is expected within a year.

Initially awarded in 2019 for ₹75 crore, the project cost was revised to ₹123 crore in 2023 due to design modifications. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) will contribute 21% of the cost, with NHAI funding the remaining 79%. The contractor has sought an additional ₹22 crore, citing increased earthwork requirements.
