Royal Enfield x Andhra Pradesh: The ₹2,200 Crore Expansion

Royal Enfield plans to invest approximately ₹2,200 crore in two phases to establish a modern manufacturing facility at Satyavedu in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district. This marks the company’s first significant expansion outside Tamil Nadu since its founding in 1901.

The upcoming plant is expected to boost Royal Enfield’s manufacturing capacity by nearly 9 lakh units, further strengthening India’s position as a global centre for premium motorcycle manufacturing.

The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) approved the project during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday.
