Telangana Takes Flight: ₹453Cr ITP Aero Plant Breaks Ground

The Minister for IT and Industries, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, laid the foundation stone for the “ITP Aero – India” manufacturing facility at Hardware Park (Phase III) in Shamshabad, Rangareddy district, Telangana, on May 5, 2026.

The project entails an investment of ₹453 crore and spans 10 acres, marking a significant addition to India’s aerospace manufacturing ecosystem. The facility will focus on producing critical components such as end-fittings and brackets used in rigid tubes for aircraft engines—high-precision parts essential to modern aviation systems and global supply chains.

The unit is expected to commence full-scale operations by 2027 and initially generate employment for around 350 skilled professionals across precision engineering, advanced manufacturing, and quality control. The workforce is projected to expand to approximately 600 employees over time, supporting local skill development and industrial growth.

This investment further strengthens Telangana’s position as an emerging hub for aerospace and defence manufacturing, attracting global players and enhancing high-value engineering capabilities in India.
