The Future is Skilled: JSW Motors Partners with Tata IIS

JSW Motors has announced a partnership with Tata Indian Institute of Skills (Tata IIS) to establish a structured technical talent pipeline ahead of commissioning its manufacturing plant at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.

The collaboration represents a significant step for the new energy vehicle venture of the JSW Group as it works to build an industry-aligned skilling ecosystem. The initiative aims to develop capabilities beginning at the shop-floor level and extending across the broader manufacturing value chain.

Under the partnership, a JSW Motors-specific curriculum has been jointly developed with Tata IIS. The programme will include training in electric vehicle (EV) systems, automation, welding, CNC operations, battery technologies, and advanced manufacturing processes, the company said in a statement.

The initiative is intended to create a skilled workforce tailored to the technological and operational requirements of JSW Motors’ upcoming facility, supporting its long-term manufacturing and innovation goals.
