Zetwerk’s Big Leap: 100k Sq. Ft. of Innovation in Bengaluru

Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated Zetwerk Electronics’ new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru on February 7, 2026.

The 100,000 sq. ft. facility is designed to serve the aerospace, defence, automotive, and IT hardware sectors, strengthening both domestic production and export-oriented manufacturing. Once fully operational, the plant is expected to employ over 1,200 skilled professionals. The facility is equipped with advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines and Final Assembly, Test, and Pack (FATP) capabilities, enabling the production of high-reliability electronic systems at scale.

Through this investment, Zetwerk aims to reduce import dependence, reinforce India’s electronics supply chains, and contribute to national security objectives. The plant will offer end-to-end lifecycle support for critical electronic sub-assemblies, spanning design and engineering through to manufacturing.
