The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced plans to develop a landmark Golf City in Sector 22F, strategically located near the upcoming Jewar Greenfield International Airport in Uttar Pradesh.
Spanning 650 acres, the project will feature a championship-level golf course as its centerpiece, complemented by select residential, commercial, and institutional facilities. Renowned global consultancy Ernst & Young has been appointed to conduct the feasibility study and prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the development.
“This initiative is part of YEIDA’s Master Plan 2041, and will be designed in alignment with green infrastructure and recreational development principles,” said Shailendra Bhatia, Officer on Special Duty at YEIDA.
The proposed blueprint includes sports clubs, pro-shops, training centers, swimming pools, hostels, restaurants, and multipurpose halls, with potential residential facilities for athletes, trainers, and sports students. YEIDA’s broader vision under Master Plan 2041 is to create a sustainable eco-city, featuring green belts, recreational hubs, and landscaped open spaces.
Over 1,000 hectares have been earmarked for recreational and leisure activities, aimed at promoting outdoor engagement, community well-being, and an enhanced quality of urban life.
