Waaree Energies announced that its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Waaree Forever Eneries Four, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the development of a 300 MW wind power project in Dwarka, Gujarat.
The agreement was executed on 6 May 2026 and represents a major milestone in Waaree’s renewable energy expansion strategy. The project is part of the company’s broader efforts to strengthen its presence in clean energy generation alongside its existing solar and wind energy portfolio.
The development is expected to contribute to Gujarat’s renewable energy capacity while supporting India’s national goals for sustainable energy growth and decarbonisation. The signing of the PPA also reinforces Waaree’s commitment to executing large-scale renewable energy projects across the country.
The project is expected to include advanced wind turbine installations and supporting infrastructure to efficiently harness wind energy potential in the Dwarka region.
