Waaree Renewable Technologies (WAAREERTL) has secured a significant contract with a Letter of Award (LoA) for a 30 MW DC solar power project. The project is set to be established in Helas village, Mantha taluka, Jalna district, Maharashtra. This turnkey project emphasizes Waaree’s commitment to advancing renewable energy in India.
Valued at approximately Rs 90.29 crore, the contract was awarded by ISMT, a Kirloskar group company. Waaree will be responsible for the comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) works for a 22 MW AC/30 MWp DC ground-mounted solar project. This project underscores Waaree’s expertise in delivering large-scale solar solutions.
The project scope includes supplying state-of-the-art bifacial solar modules, acquiring necessary land, and managing the entire construction and commissioning phases of the solar plant. Waaree will also handle the comprehensive operation and maintenance, ensuring the plant operates at peak efficiency.
In addition to the core solar components, the project involves the installation of evacuation infrastructure at both plant and substation levels. This includes establishing the necessary transmission lines and securing all required statutory approvals, ensuring seamless integration into the grid.
Scheduled for completion in the financial year 2024-25, this project reinforces Waaree’s position as a leader in the renewable energy sector, driving forward India’s solar capacity and sustainable energy goals.
