VVDN + QNX: Building Safer Systems Together

VVDN Technologies has entered into a strategic partnership with QNX, a division of BlackBerry, to co-develop safety-critical solutions for the automotive and embedded systems markets.

The collaboration combines QNX’s trusted real-time operating system (Neutrino RTOS) and safety-certified hypervisors with VVDN’s expertise in electronics manufacturing, centralized ECU development, sensor fusion, and battery management systems. Together, the companies aim to accelerate innovation in high-growth areas such as software-defined vehicles, ADAS, autonomous driving, digital cockpit systems, and eMobility. Beyond automotive, the partnership also targets embedded applications in sectors like medical devices, industrial automation, aerospace, and robotics.

Vivek Bansal, President of VVDN Technologies, emphasized that the partnership reinforces VVDN’s commitment to delivering reliable, mission-critical real-time solutions. Dhiraj Handa, Head of QNX APAC, noted that VVDN’s strong hardware and system design capabilities are a natural complement to QNX’s safety-certified software platforms.
