VPRPL Strikes Gold in Rajasthan Sand Mining Auction

Vishnu Prakash RPunglia Ltd (VPRPL), a leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, has finalised a five-year river sand mining lease at Kanana in Rajasthan’s Balotra district.

The lease permits the company to mine up to 154,350 tonnes of river sand annually. The sand mine was secured through a competitive auction process, and VPRPL has obtained all necessary statutory approvals from the concerned authorities. The company has also deposited the requisite amounts with the Government of Rajasthan for execution of the mining agreement.

Under the terms of the lease, VPRPL will be responsible for the extraction and sale of river sand for a period of five years, in compliance with prescribed production limits and regulatory norms.

The move aligns with VPRPL’s diversification strategy and strengthens its expanding presence in the mining sector, complementing its broader infrastructure and EPC portfolio.
