Vizag on the Move: The Gambheeram–Tallavalasa Upgrade

Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) Metropolitan Commissioner N. Tej Bharath recently carried out a field inspection to review the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects in the region. The visit focused on assessing the pace of work and ensuring the timely completion of the road widening and improvement project connecting Gambheeram and Tallavalasa.

According to officials, VMRDA has set April 30 as the deadline for completing the Gambheeram–Tallavalasa stretch, a key corridor expected to improve traffic flow and ease congestion.

The project is part of VMRDA’s broader initiative to upgrade major commuter routes and strengthen connectivity across the Visakhapatnam metropolitan region.
