Vikram Solar has secured an order to supply 378.75 MW of high-efficiency solar modules for a major project tendered by NTPC Green Energy Limited (INGEL), the renewable energy arm of NTPC Limited.
The modules will be deployed near Nakhatrana in Kutch district as part of a 600 MW solar project being developed by Indian Oil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited, a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation Limited and NTPC Green Energy Limited. The deal marks Vikram Solar’s first large-scale collaboration with INGEL and reinforces its footprint in one of India’s key renewable energy hubs.
Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its advanced N-TOPCon modules, engineered to deliver enhanced performance, reliability, and higher energy yields for utility-scale installations. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in FY26.
Gujarat continues to play a pivotal role in India’s renewable energy expansion, supported by favourable policies, strong infrastructure, and significant capacity additions. The project underscores Vikram Solar’s commitment to accelerating India’s clean energy transition through technological innovation and dependable execution.
Commenting on the development, Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, said the order represents a key milestone as the company begins its first large-scale engagement with INGEL in Gujarat, laying the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership in support of India’s rapidly advancing clean energy goals.
