Univastu India, a leading name in the country’s infrastructure and EPC sector, has reached a major milestone by securing two significant sports infrastructure contracts in Maharashtra. These projects align with India’s long-term vision of hosting future Olympic Games and reflect the state’s dedication to developing world-class athletic facilities.
The first contract, awarded by the Public Works Department (West), Satara, involves the construction of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Sports Complex in Karad. Valued at ₹88.03 crore, the project is being developed for the Karad Municipal Council and is slated for completion within 24 months, excluding monsoon-related delays.
The second and more substantial project is for the Divisional Sports Complex in Jalgaon, commissioned by the Divisional Sports Complex Committee. With a total value of ₹244.31 crore, it is expected to be completed over a 36-month period, excluding monsoon seasons.
“These state-of-the-art facilities are more than just construction projects—they represent India’s Olympic ambitions,” said Pradeep Khandagale, Chairman & Managing Director, Univastu India.
