Uniqlo's Southern Comfort: First Store Opens in Bengaluru

Japanese apparel giant Uniqlo is set to make its debut in Southern India with the opening of its first store in Bengaluru on August 29, located at Orion Mall, Brigade Gateway.

“We are excited to announce Uniqlo’s entry into Southern India with our first store in Bengaluru,” said Kenji Inoue, CFO and COO, Uniqlo India. “This city represents a key milestone in our India expansion strategy. Over the past few years, Bengaluru has shown strong demand and brand engagement through our online platform. We now look forward to welcoming customers to experience Uniqlo LifeWear in person.”

The move marks a significant step in Uniqlo’s broader India growth plan, as it expands beyond its existing presence in northern and western regions. Recognized as one of India’s fastest-growing and most cosmopolitan cities, Bengaluru has been identified as a strategic market for the brand’s continued retail expansion.
