Trufrost & Butler Opens Integrated Foodservice Hub in Maharashtra

Trufrost & Butler has inaugurated a new integrated manufacturing facility in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, strengthening its presence in the commercial refrigeration and foodservice equipment sector.

Spread across 1.06 lakh sq. ft., the facility brings manufacturing, assembly, testing, quality assurance, and warehousing operations under one roof. Equipped with eight production lines and a capacity of 400 machines per shift, the plant is designed to meet growing demand from the hospitality and foodservice industries.

The company said the facility is India’s first integrated BIS-certified manufacturing hub for premium commercial refrigeration and foodservice equipment. It incorporates advanced manufacturing technologies, global quality standards, IoT-enabled solutions, and predictive maintenance capabilities.

The plant has already received BIS certification for more than 30 product categories, including refrigeration systems, coffee machines, bakery equipment, and kitchen appliances, with additional certifications planned in the coming months. The facility is expected to boost domestic manufacturing capabilities and support the company’s growth in both Indian and international markets.
