The Health and Family Welfare Department of Tripura has invited bids for the selection of a concessionaire to develop a super-specialty hospital in Agartala under the Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) model through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
The project scope includes the development, operation, and maintenance of a multi-disciplinary super-specialty hospital, along with the construction of a nurses’ training facility and hostel, as well as quarters for doctors and staff.
As per the tender terms, the selected concessionaire must:
Construct and operationalize a minimum 150-bed hospital within 36 months from the appointed date
Expand the facility to 250 beds within 60 months from the Commercial Operation Date (COD)
The estimated project cost is ₹175 crore, and the last date for bid submission is 18 July 2025.
