THINK Gas Expands Nellore Natural Gas Network

THINK Gas, formerly known as AG&P Pratham, has announced a major expansion of its natural gas network across Nellore district and Kavali, reinforcing its commitment to delivering clean, affordable, and reliable energy to domestic, industrial, and transport consumers.

The company has commenced trial piped natural gas (PNG) connections in Gandhi Nagar, Nellore city, as part of a five-year plan to supply PNG to 1.25 lakh households in Nellore city and 8.52 lakh households across SPSR Nellore district. Over the next three years, THINK Gas will establish 20 new CNG stations and connect an additional 5,000 homes to PNG. This year, the company plans to commission one LCNG station and three new CNG stations, while upgrading two existing DBS stations into online CNG stations.

At present, THINK Gas operates one LCNG station, 20 CNG stations, 6,526 domestic PNG connections, 27 industrial and commercial connections, and four retrofitment centres in Nellore.

In the coming two years, the company will lay approximately 90 inch-km of steel pipelines and 129 inch-km of MDPE pipelines to link industrial clusters and major highways, enabling cleaner operations and driving local economic growth.
