The Rise of Samskara: A New Five-Star Landmark in Chimur

Saboo Sodium Chloro has acquired 26 acres of land in Chimur, Maharashtra, near Tadoba National Park, for the development of a luxury resort named “Samskara Tadoba.” The acquisition, announced on 31 December 2025, marks the company’s third land purchase this year, following earlier acquisitions in Jawai and Udaipur.

The proposed five-star resort is planned to feature up to 150 rooms, two signature restaurants, swimming pools, a private lake, an observation tower, curated nature walks, luxury conferencing facilities, recreational amenities, and a dedicated children’s zone. The resort is expected to become operational by 2027 and is anticipated to generate significant employment opportunities in the region.

Saboo Sodium Chloro has applied for incentives under Maharashtra’s existing policies and plans to commence construction upon receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals. With over 850 hotel keys in its development pipeline across Jawai and Tadoba, the company aims to position itself as a leading player in the luxury hospitality segment and is actively exploring further land acquisition opportunities in destinations such as Ranthambore, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer.
