The Power of Two: Nordic Chipsets Meet IndieSemiC Innovation

Ahmedabad-based IndieSemiC has partnered with Nordic Semiconductor to design and commercialise advanced wireless modules for connected devices, with the solutions already available and gaining traction in global markets.

As part of the collaboration, IndieSemiC handles the entire module lifecycle—from RF design and antenna engineering to hardware development, firmware support, testing, validation, certification, and manufacturing. Nordic Semiconductor contributes its core chipset technology, enabling certified, production-ready modules built on its nRF52 and nRF54 series.

The modules support multiple wireless standards, including Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, and Matter, along with long-range connectivity. They are targeted at a wide range of applications such as smart homes, wearables, healthcare devices, industrial IoT systems, smart metering, and automotive connectivity.

Designed for low power consumption, robust security, and scalability, the solutions are well-suited for next-generation connected ecosystems. IndieSemiC also plans to expand its portfolio across IoT, wearables, smart electronics, and industrial systems, reinforcing India’s growing role in the global semiconductor and wireless technology value chain.
