Chennai's deeptech start-up Meine Electric, in collaboration with AIC-AU, is set to test its indigenous Iron-Air Battery technology at the NTPC Simhadri Thermal Power Station. This utility-scale pilot will assess the system's real-world operational reliability and performance, generating critical data to advance long-duration energy storage (LDES) solutions.
