The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for the upgradation of a key highway stretch in Rajasthan to enhance regional connectivity and road safety.
The project involves widening the Mahwa–Mandawar–Rajgarh section of NH-921 to four lanes, covering a length from design km 0.850 to km 50.246. In addition, a flyover will be constructed on NH-21 from design km 0.000 to 1.700 near its junction with NH-921. The project is estimated to cost ₹481.35 crore and is scheduled for completion within 24 months. Upon completion, the selected contractor will be responsible for operating and maintaining the infrastructure for a period of five years.
This initiative forms part of MoRTH’s broader efforts to improve transportation efficiency and strengthen road infrastructure in the region. The deadline for bid submission is 26 February 2026.
